What is the speed and quality of pictures from the photobooth?

We use professional studio quality cameras and lighting equipment and industry standard dye sub printing equipment to ensure you get the very best pictures from your photobooth in under 30 seconds.

What size are your LOVE letters?

Each letter is 4ft tall and 2ft wide, needing approximately 8/9ft space to place them all.

Can the Lightup letters be used outside?

Weather permitting, this isn’t a problem, however we do require 1 plug socket to power the letters (we carry extension cables)

Where can the dance floor be setup?

The floors are made up of 4x2 ft panels and 2x2 ft panels making them ideal for most venues. The floors can be laid onto flat surfaces indoors only. We can lay them as square or rectangular dance floors.

How do I book services?

Once you have received your quote from us and confirmed that you would like make a booking, we will email you a link to complete our booking form. Once this has been completed, we will email you an invoice together with payment options. Your booking is provisionally held once a booking form is completed, and confirmed on receipt of your deposit. This is the same process for wedding dj hire, uplighter hire, photobooth hire, dancefloor hire or any of our services.

How long do you need to lay the dance floor?

We always request at least one hour, but may require more if it is a very large dance floor.

What Lightup Letters do you stock?

We stock the alphabet (more than one of some characters), numbers, and hastags etc. Enquire for your desired combination.

Do you charge extra for travel expenses?

Yes, we charge for delivery from our premises, to your venue for hire items, but DJ and Photo Booth hire prices include delivery within Hertfordshire. 

Are the backdrops able to fit odd widths and heights?

Yes, for example a 3m high 6m wide backdrop uses extendable frames meaning it can be adjusted in size.

Are the backdrops attached to the ceiling/walls of my venue/marquee?

No, all backdrops are free standing structures using robust, invisible, frames and stands. This means you don't have to attach them to the walls of the venue and no damage will be caused to the function room.

What deposit do I need to pay?

We require a deposit of 20% of all services booked.

How much space do you require for the set up of the photobooth?

We need a space of approximately 1.3 meters deep by 2.3 meters wide and 2 meters in height. We also need access to 2 standard power sockets. It's also good if there's extra room for all the hilarious photobooth props.

Do I get a digital copy of my photobooth pictures?

Yes, we present you with a USB drive at the end of your event containing all prints, videos, and digital images captured throughout the night. We also provide a private link to download for your guests to retrieve their photos and videos.  This makes them ideal for sharing on social media and carrying on the party with these great memories.

Will there be a photobooth attendant?

Yes, we provide a fully trained professional photobooth attendant to setup, take down and help out where necessary so you can relax, we've got it covered!

What is the photo guestbook at the photobooth?

A photo guestbook is an album that includes all of the pictures taken in the photobooth at your event. Your booth attendant will arrange the photo booth pictures into the book throughout the night and encourage guests to leave a message, this provides you with a memorable keepsake. Ideal for weddings and special occasions.

Does the hire time include travel and setting up?

All our hire package times are running time only. Travel and setup / set down time are not included when we confirm times. Thismeans you only pay for the time you are actually using the equipment.

Where can the projector and screen be set up?

We use a rear projection screen, and a short throw projector allowing us to position the screen 1 meter away from a wall with the projector positioned behind the screen out of the way. we use a minimum of 3500 lumens projector for high quality results.

What size is the projector screen?

The projector screen itself is 2 metres wide by 1.6 metres high. It can be set up with a total height of between 1.8 metres to 3 metres total height.

What format do my pictures/videos need to be provided on?

Our projectors have VGA, USB and HDMI connectivity, we also carry various cables and adapters to assist with iPad and iPhone connections. If you are worried, just let us know before your event and we'll make sure we have a compatible adapter.
