We believe the Wedding DJ and Disco are one of the most important ingredients to a successful evening reception. Our Wedding DJ / Disco service outshines the other providers due to the level of experience, expertise and natural talent our DJs demonstrate. We are insured for £10,000,000 public liability and fully P.A.T. tested. All our equipment undergoes a full service and check every 6 months.  A backup system is brought to each event and there are DJs on standby as an additional backup.  This minimises an unexpected lapse in the high level service we offer so you can rest assured that you will always have a great DJ at your wedding.

 

We approach each wedding as a combined effort with you, our couple. We start by getting to know you so we can fully understand your style, passions, likes and dislikes. It's one of the most important days of your life, so with one shot to get it right you need to make the best decision in choosing your wedding entertainment. We will work with you to plan your first dance - working with the photographer or videographer to ensure you have the best photos to record this special moment.  We can discuss the music choices to ensure that all wedding guests are catered for, we can create playlists for specific themes and take requests. We have made the process of choosing your style, look and package very simple, meaning you know exactly what you can expect on your big day. It is important to know that if you like the particular look of a disco you see, that you can have that at your wedding and not a generic disco.

 

When you plan and book your wedding you will spend time choosing your venue, decoration, chair covers, table layouts, flowers, and more, so surely it is important that the disco which often is a key focal point ties in with your colour, and theme. You can also visit us at one of the many wedding fairs where we showcase our discos, lighting, and photo booths throughout the year.

 

Equipment, Customer Service, and Insurance

* We are a full time events company. If you call or email us you won’t wait for someone to finish work to get back to you. You can call us pretty much anytime and we will answer or call you back within the hour.

* Likewise if you want to meet us to discuss your event, or take a look at some options face to face we are available and happy to meet with you at your venue, local coffee shop or at our premises for a chat, to measure up etc day or evening.

* My Big Day Events use versatile, state of the art equipment. 2,000+ watt sound systems (plus extra bass packages when required) to make sure we can fill your venue, complete with the best L.E.D lighting options, moving heads, strobe lighting and other options so we can complement your event and venue.

*Rest assured, as a reputable company we are fully insured with £10 million public liability insurance and all our equipment is fully PAT tested.

 

All Day DJ / Compere

 

It is our pleasure to offer our All Day DJ and compere service.  This service gives you total peace of mind from start to finish that you have an experienced, knowledgeable and technically minded professional at your service.

 

Ceremony Music - there is no second take! We make sure your ceremony music is played at the right time and volume, using the highest quality sound system.  In addition to this we will be on hand to assist the registrar and your guests.

 

The Host - as your host we will coordinate your day to ensure it goes to plan and on time.  This can be anything from cake cutting, speeches, your entrance, moving guests from room to room and anything you need to take all the stress off your shoulders so you can enjoy your big day.  Think of My Big Day Events as your personal wedding coordinator and Master of Ceremonies. We also work very well alongside a Toast Master. 

 

Audio Visual Options - we can arrange and play background music for your ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast and set the mood with LED uplighting all included in the package.

Radio Microphone for the day 

MC / DJ to coordinate and/or compere for up to 4 hours 

PA system for ceremony and/or wedding breakfast 

MC / DJ responsible for microphones and music during the day
